The ship Sachem, Davis, which arrived at this port on the 5th inst. sailed from Havre on the 26th of June, but brings no news of interest. Our Paris papers are to the 20th of that month. The court of France was removed to St. Cloud on the 18th, on which occasion there were illuminations and great rejoicings. The king was in good health.
We learn from capt. Davis, that the prospect was very favorable for an abundant harvest in France, and that bread stuffs were falling. At Havre, flour was at 90 francs per barrel; rice 55 francs; rye flour in good demand. Good cotton brisk, and looking up. Tobacco steady.
