Fire in the Lykens Mine.

HARRISBURG, Pa., Nov. 21. - A fire is raging in the Lykens mine. John Kreely, the foreman, George Bainbridge and Oscar Cook narrowly escaped suffocation. All efforts to check the flames prove futile. The fire has broken out 80 yards further down the slope. If the draught should change and force the flames, which are now coming back into the mine, there is danger of the fire being driven to the Lykens Valley Mill. Fifteen hundred men and boys are thrown out of employment.
