Pisciculture is, however, beginning to attract considerable attention: and there are few things better worth a visit in London than Mr. Frank Buckland's tank—elegantly set around with pearly oyster-shell, representing every species of that bivalve in the world, from the size of a half crown to that of a washbasin—in which the trout or salmon be traced at every stage of its growth, from the time that is an oval speck to where it is a foot long, marvel of grace and beauty.
