GRADUATION PROGRAM IS TO BE HELD AT COLISEUM; ROBERTSON TO BE SPEAKER

Contrary to other reports, the Graduation Exercises of the Douglas High School will be held at the Coliseum Theatre as in former years, Thursday, May 26, one week hence from tonight, members of the Board announced last evening.

The senior class is composed of two girls, Helen Edwards and Jacynth Sey who will receive their diplomas at the graduation.

Attorney R. E. Robertson of Juneau will deliver the Commencement Day Address. Helen as Valedictorian, and Jackie as Salutatorian of the class will give appropriate speeches; Miss Margaret Pimperton will sing "Serenade" and "Boats of Mine." Supt. Martin Pederson will present the class and Frank Pettygrove of the School Board will present the diplomas.

Next Sunday evening at the Episcopal church, Dean C. E. Rice will preach the Baccalaureate sermon. Mrs. Glen Kirkham will sing and Howard Burger will contribute to the program with a violin solo.
