BIAS IS GIVEN THREE WAYS TO APPEASE LAW

W. H. Bias, the man who had the perfect still when his place near Seeley was raided by George Evans and a party from the sheriff's office, can do one of three things as the result of a judgment passed by Judge F. N. Kirkpatrick of Seeley this morning.

Bias, who was in the county hospital suffering from a stomach ailment when his place was raided, was taken from the hospital yesterday afternoon, after he had been placed under arrest there.

Taken before Judge Kirkpatrick this morning on a charge of possession of liquor, he was sentenced to pay a fine of $100 or serve 90 days in the county jail, and the sentence was suspended on condition he leave the county.

It makes little difference to officers what course Bias takes. He can pay the fine, serve the jail term, or leave the county, and they will be equally well satisfied.
