The Tazewell Jr. 4-H Club campers go to Abingdon to Southwest Virginia 4-H Center July 16-21. The junior members from Buchanan and Carroll counties will join the group for the week. Jim McDonald and Pearl Drewry are the agents from Tazewell County who will accompany the group. Mrs. Wayne Neel, leader of the Clear Fork 4-H Club will be a leader at this camp.

The 4-H'ers will have the following classes:

Entomology, taught by Jack Rowell, Extension Entomologist from V.P.I., Swimming, by the camp lifeguards, Firearm Safety and Archery - S. D. Woods and Jim McDonald. Handicraft - Louise Carmichael and Lakie Horne. Game Leadership - Tae Smith and Ann Wade - camp recreation leaders.

The campers have a full day planned for them which include vespers after the evening meal and then recreation for the entire group until bed time. Forty girls and twenty-two boys from Tazewell County have paid their registration fee to attend this camp.
