ANDALUSIA, Ala—(ANP)—Negro children of this town were all elated last week in moving into a new modern 8 room building which is the first school building of the modern type that they have had They were elated because of the liberal allocations made them in the new structure which replaces the one destroyed by fire last year.
The school has been provided through federal, state and county aid as well as through local colored citizens Samuel L. Younge a graduate of Tuskegee and Talladega College is Principal and much credit has been bestowed upon him for his untiring efforts in making the new school possible.
The dedication of the building will be held in March at which time a large singing contest between representatives of several County Training Schools will be held
The new school not only is attended by children of Andalusia, but is the only High School for Negroes in the County
