In raising the frame of a dwelling-house, yesterday afternoon, some part of it gave way while the workmen were getting up the roof, when all the frame inside fell and about 40 persons, who were mostly upon the third story, came tumbling down, promiscuously, with timber joints, and boards, quite to the lower floor, and several of them into the cellar: But, by a very signal interposition of providence, no lives were lost, nor even any bones broken, one or two were stunned, who soon recovered, and some were bruised.
