REFUSE AGREEMENT

The members of the Coal Teamsters' union are planning to take some definite action in the near future, and it is possible that there may be serious trouble in the hands of the dealers.

A few weeks ago the agreements of the local with the dealers were presented, and it was thought that, as they were in the main satisfactory to them, there would be but little trouble in obtaining a settlement.

The men were obtaining the wages and the hours and all they asked in the way of an improvement was relative to Sunday work. This the dealers would not concede to and the agreements have not been signed.

Just what action the union will take has not been decided, but it will be this week. Whether the men will strike or not cannot be learned. The men are anxious to settle the affair without resorting to that extreme.
