Rhode-Island District, ss.

BE it remembered that on the twenty sixth day of October in the year one thousand eight hundred and fourteen, and in the thirty-ninth year of the Independence of the United States of America, Mr. David Vinton, Of Providence, in said District, deposited in this office the title of a Book, the right whereof he claims as compiler and proprietor in the words and figures following, viz:

"MASONICK MINSTREL, A selection of Masonick, Sentimental, Amatory, Anacreontick and Humorous Songs, Duets, Catches, Glees, Canons, Rounds, and Canzonets, from the most celebrated Authors, and respectfully dedicated to the Brethren of the Most Ancient and Honourable Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons, by Brother David Vinton, Providence, Rhode-Island"—

In conformity to the Act of Congress of the United States, entitled "An Act for the encouragement of learning by securing the Copies of maps, charts and books to the authors and proprietors of such copies during the time therein mentioned," and also to an Act, entitled an Act, supplementary to an Act, entitled "An Act for the encouragement of learning by securing the copies of maps, charts and books, to the authors and proprietors of such copies during the time therein mentioned; and extending the benefits thereof to the arts of designing, engraving and etching, historical and other prints."
