Girl Scouts Hold Tea
Saturday At End Of
This Scouting Year

A large group was present at the Girl Scout tea last Saturday. More than fifty mothers and other interested women were present at the last activity of Scouting for this school year.

Each woman was presented with an orchid by a Scout or Brownie. The flowers were sent from Hawaii by Pan American Airways.

The tea was so well attended it is hoped that this will become an annual event of Girl Scouting in Nome.

Plans are already underway for more and better Girl Scouting in Nome next year. Any woman interested in becoming a leader or assisting in any way is asked to contact Mrs. Carl Liebig. A training course will be given later in the summer for new leaders as well as those already connected with Girl Scouting.
