IKE REPORTED WILLING TO USE MacARTHUR'S "GENIUS"

WASHINGTON, (AP)-Sen. McCarthy (R-Wis) said Tuesday that President-elect Eisenhower would be willing to "utilize the genius" of Gen. Douglas MacArthur in Korean War.

MacArthur, who refrained from forming any new plans to end the war or from endorsing Eisenhower in the election campaign although he keynoted the GOP convention, announced Friday he has a plan for "a clear and definite solution of the Korean conflict" without involving unduly heavy Allied casualties.
