Sets House Afire
Chico, Cal.—As an outgrowth of a family feud extending over three years, nine-year-old Rudolph Mastkovich of Thermalito, according to his confession, set fire to the home of A. C. Mastellar, also of Thermalito, to get revenge.
Rudolph is the son of George Mastkovich and confessed to Probation Officer E. S. Bybee.
He told Bybee that he set the fire because Mastellar's two sons, aged ten and fourteen years old, respectively, had been "picking" fights with him.
