July 20.

Lamoine.

Reuben Cousins, of Portland, is expected in town to-day for a few days.

Mrs. Alton Tripp returned Saturday from her visit to her parents in Orient.

Mrs. John Coolidge and family, of Waltham, are occupying their summer cottage here.

Capt. Fred Hodgkins arrived home Saturday. He will spend three months or more on shore.

J. L. Higgins and family, of Blue Earth City, Minnesota, are visiting Mr. Higgins' mother, Mrs. E. W. Higgins.

Alton Tripp and Miss Ellen Berry, of Seal Harbor, and Miss Stella King, of Bar Harbor, spent Sunday in town.

Miss Florence Young, of Waltham, Mass., is spending her vacation with her sister, Mrs. Lionel Hodgkins.

Howard DeLaittre and wife, their daughter Miss Evelyn and son Horace, of Minneapolis, are visiting relatives here.

Florentine Young and wife are calling on friends here. Mr. Young was a former resident of Lamoine, and has been a prosperous business man of the West. He is now interested in the rice fields in Texas and Louisiana.
