Capt. John Stevens of this Town came in the above Vessel, and informs, that while he was at Martinico, which was 29 Days, 62 Prizes was brought in there, 8 into Grenada, 2 into St. Cruz, a large Ship with 700 Hogsheads of Sugar from Jamaica, was sent to France, 15 Ransoms were also brought in there, and two Vessels were retaken by our Ships of war : during his stay in that Island there was an Exchange of Prisoners by the Reasonable Man of War, of 100 Men ; and that about 200 others remained in that Island confined as Prisoners of War.
