Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars-St. Matt. 24:6

IF by wishing High Disciples well in the world, Jesus could have possibly left out the term, "Wars and rumors of wars," His love for humanity surely would have declared it, but despite His love, and the covering of His grace to cover all sins hither-to "winked at," in company with His Disciples standing out, and looking up at the impregnable foundations and fixtures of the Temple, love for His Disciples and a suffering world, torn to bits on the account of race hate and national and international prejudice and jealousies focused in the Master's heart to declare His PROPHECIES in the 24th chapter of Saint Matthew. Read last chapter, and think with us:

By nature, about how far up the road of culture and Christianity has the race of mankind traveled? In what respect are the nations of the world less inclined to "wars and rumors of wars" today than in any former period in the world's history?

If we fight less, do we not spend much more preparing to fight than in any former period? How can a nation, any nation get away from the "rumors of wars," when it, or they, spend the greater bulk of wealth, and otherwise tax the citizens to get and be ready for any war-like eventuality? After nearly two thousand years, thank God, Christianity it seems has produced four world servants, viz.: Albert Schweitzer. Mahatma Gandhi, E. Stanley Jones, and Toyohiko Kagawa. While perhaps the sacrifices of Schweitzer greater by reason of his 'reverence for life' takes him into the African Belgian Congo, and far away from modern civilization; with E. Stanley Jones, an ENSAMPLE Christ in India, contrast by the "CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE" of the Mahatma; still to our mind, no doubt, the world is given its purest example by Kagawa in his LOVE THE LAW OF LIFE.

These four world characters are proving themselves to be not merely individualistic in their plans and methods of introducing and teaching Christianity to the nations of the world, in a cultural mechanical way, but they're personalities taking hold with both hands and life. like, Jesus, they're "servants of all" in whatsoever is required to prove to this world that it should enter upon the HIGH ROAD of trying to get on as a world of races created of one blood for to dwell together upon the earth. He will also teach and help us to get along together in neighborly and world peace.
