PIEDMONT AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY. —The meeting of the Piedmont Agricultural Society at Culpeper Court House adjourned yesterday. Delegates from the State Society and from the Augusta, Petersburg and Lynchburg Societies were present, the State Society being represented by Gen. W. H. T. Fee and the Petersburg Society by E. S. Gregory. It was determined to adhere to the plan of organization adopted by the State Society last year, by which the meetings of the fairs the coming fall will be as follows: The State fair Oct. 28, Norfolk the following Tuesday; Petersburg Oct. 21; Danville Oct. 21; Staunton Oct. 14; Culpeper Oct. 7; Rockbridge Oct. 7, and Winchester Oct. 7.
