We, in this part of Zion's work, had a full and joyful day, Lord's Day, April 4th, having had the privilege of hearing Overseer Darms, both morning and evening. Our Bible School continues to grow, 118 present today. For some time past the attendance has been well over the hundred mark; which reminds us of the need for more commodious transportation facilities. While our fine Station Wagon is serving well, it has its limitations, though one would think it had none, if you had seen the 31 occupants climbing out of it three weeks ago. Yes, all in one load, including the driver.
We are looking for an omnibus, which is badly needed. Please pray that we may be guided aright in our search. We hope to acquire a used school bus, for these vehicles are ordinarily kept in good condition.
The former Vice President of Zion Educational Institutions—Overseer Darms, when conducting the morning service, recognized in the audience three former teachers in Zion schools: Mrs. Evelyn Morrison, Miss Eva Baker (who is at present a professor in the State University in Tempe, our neighboring city), and Mrs. McWade, the former Hazel Gillett.
In due time Overseer Darms will report to you the progress of the work, which we trust will further your interest in this branch of Zion's work and serve to strengthen the ties between us.
Your Scribe,
S. H. DePew.
