Halibut Season
Closed; Superior Is High Boat

CAPT. NELS FORD AND HIS CREW WILL SHARE MOST MONEY OF THE FLEET

Wages for the high boat of the season of the Pacific halibut fleet will soon be paid with the broom at the masthead of the Superior, Capt. Nels Ford, according to the Ketchikan Chronicle.

Dealers, fish buyers and halibut men all declare that there is no doubt about the Superior being the high boat.

The Clipper, Zenith and Daily, next in order for money distributed among their crews, already have arrived from the banks and sold their cargoes.

Until the Superior arrives and sells the exact amount of shares for the season will not be definitely known.
