Lisbon, March 18. It is said that a numerous Promotion of Land and Sea Officers will soon be made; and it is likewise said, that new Ordinances, greatly in Favour of the Commerce of this Kingdom, will be published soon after the Return of the Court. A general Review of the Troops of this Kingdom being to be made the latter End of next Month, or the Beginning of May, all the Officers are successively setting out from hence for their respective Regiments. We are in daily Expectation of the Arrival in this Port of several Ships richly laden from the Indies.
