Ohio Valley Express Train Narrowly Escaped a Bad Wreck Near New Cumberland Yesterday.

While running at a rate of fifty miles an hour, near New Cumberland, yesterday morning, the Ohio Valley Express came near being wrecked. A freight train was on the side, laden with railroad ties. The ties were piled high above the top of the cars, and just before the fast passenger came into sight some of the ties rolled off on the track and a serious wreck was narrowly averted.
