PHILADELPHIA, October 8.

MORE FRENCH ROBBERY.

The sloop Express, Captain Pinyard, arrived here yesterday in 40 days from Oporto. On the 8th of September, in lat. 30, long. 33, was boarded from a French frigate, who said they were from the Isle of France, bound to Brest. THEY ROBBED THE EXPRESS OF FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS IN SPECIE, ALL THE SPARE BLOCKS, TAR, BEEF, PORK, OIL, PAINTS, &C. &C. and after threatening to BURN the sloop, left her to pursue her voyage, she being only in ballast. This is another and unequivocal proof of the practical repeal of the French plundering and burning decrees of Berlin and Milan.
