KETCHIKAN RADIO STATION TRANSFERRED

The Ketchikan Naval Radio station will be transferred to the Signal Corps soon. This is in line with the efforts of the Signal Corps to increase the efficiency in the handling of traffic. The Naval Radio Station at Juneau will be transferred to the Signal Corps at the same time. The exact date for the transfer has not been set as yet but it is expected that it will be soon. Sergeant Reesser will be in charge of the Naval Station at Ketchikan when the new change is made and will combine supervision of the station with his present duties at the cable office.
