Full Text
Capt. Osborne, of his Majesty's ship Ariadne, which arrived here on Sunday last from Halifax, has brought the agreeable news of an immediate stop being put to the arrival of any rebel vessel whatever into any of the ports of Nova-Scotia or New Brunswick.
If restraining the brutal and more than savage hands of Britons and Tories from the accomplishment of tyranny and murder, entitles us to the appellation of Rebels, we GLORY IN THE EPITHET, and receive the applause of admiring nations; while the anguish of guilt is in the dreary regions of St. John's, your constant companions.
How long, ye guardians of America, will ye suffer British edicts to cramp your trade with impunity?
