Pine Bluff, Nov. 12.—Rabbi Ephraim Frisch has received a telegram from Jacob H. Schiff of New York, treasurer of the national committee for the relief of the Jews in Russia, who are suffering as a result of the recent Russian massacres, asking him to organize a committee in this city to raise funds for the relief of the unfortunate Jews.
Rabbi Frisch and Charles Weil will raise a fund to be sent to the national committee for this purpose. There are many sympathizers in Pine Bluff among both the Jews and Gentiles, and a nice sum will be raised here.
