WILLOUGHBY AVENUE BRIDGE TO BE STARTED TOMORROW MORNING

With the construction of the new Willoughby Avenue bridge over Gold Creek scheduled to start tomorrow morning, the thoroughfare will be closed until next Wednesday, the probable date of its re-opening, it was announced today by Mayor T. B. Judson. Overtime work will be done on the construction work, if necessary, in order to finish it before the opening of the Southeastern Alaska Fair, the Mayor said. Several blocks of new sidewalks are being constructed on Willoughby avenue this week by the city.
