The house of representatives passed a vote to concur with the senate in a resolution requesting the Governor to raise a force not exceeding 800, nor less than 500 men, to be stationed in the counties of Hampshire and Berkshire for 5 months, unless sooner discharged by the governor with council's advice and consent. They also resolved to grant full pardon to all concerned in the rebellion except Daniel Shays, Luke Day, William Smith of Hampshire; Eli Parsons, Jacob Fox, Perez Hamlin, Ebenezer Culender of Durham, and Elisha Manning of Berkshire.
