A WARNING TO THE
LOST ONES
I
Christmas comes on the day of Wednesday
Why not obey God's will
The world is now excited in life
From the valleys to the top of the hills.
II
If the world would accept the love of God
The world would be a paradise today
We would all be one family of God
And Christmas would be a joyful way.
III
The way of the Christian life I say
Is to love ye one another each day
There would be no more law in God's house
It would be a sinless Christian way.
IV
Why claim the things that don't belong to you
The world is in God's house
Pay his way to rule God's people
Like a church house crumb eating mouse.
V
These words the Lord inspired me to write
For someone today to take heed
Poor mothers left at home today
Some with a heart to bleed.
VI
Now this is only a warning today
From God's little man please hear
God's word is like a two-edged sword
Poor sinners will you stand in fear?
VII
Let the New Year find a change in you
Tell the world I have been born again
Born of the love of God I can say
And my heart is free from sin.
VIII
For my friends that are out in the world
Accept God's love today
You may not see tomorrow
So accept the love of God and come this way.
IX
So this is a warning from the Lord
Through his man today
The flesh and blood is not the one
The King's Highway will pay.
