Full Text

Capital of Colorado.

The capital of Colorado has been removed by an act of the legislature of that territory from Golden City to Denver. Now that that village has got to be a capital, has two United States senators in a pig's eye! -and is prospectively at one end of a little branch railroad running out from Cheyenne into the country, it ought to wipe the blubbers away from its nose, "dry up," and be a nice little place, for a while. It shouldn't insist on running with Cheyenne, at all; because the "Magic City" ain't used to that kind of company.
