What You Are To Me

You are my life, my love, my hope,
The answer to all my dreams;
The brightest star in my horoscope,
And soothing as the desert streams.

You are the life blood in my veins,
The very essence of my soul,
Your touch as cool as the summer rains,
That make the flowers whole.

With hair as gold as the sunshine
That gives life to the earth,
With eyes like stars and lips divine,
Enclosed in a heavenly berth.

Your voice as soft as the evening breeze
That flows through the midnight blue,
Rustling leaves in the swaying trees
That murmur I love you.
