A meeting of the executive committee of the Putnam Chapter of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, Inc., was held Monday afternoon in Sen. William Perry Barber's office. The primary purpose of this meeting was to present an up-to-date list of infantile paralysis victims in this area, not only those recovered sufficiently to be discharged from the Isolation Hospital, but those who are still patients there. Bills on hand to the amount of $319.75 were approved by the committee to be sent by the local treasurer to Col. James J. Lee, chairman for Windham County to be turned over to James Hurley, treasurer for the County. The executive committee of the Putnam Chapter consists of the following: Mrs. Dorothy J. Bartlett, chairman; Mayor Harvey J. Grinsell, vice chairman; Miss Anne S. Weekes, secretary, Sen. William Perry Barber, treasurer. The campaign period begins Jan. 14 and ends Jan. 31.
