Drive-In Theatre To Be Completed Around July 1

Weldon, June 8-(Special)- The new Drive-In Theatre being built by Roy L. Champion on the Weldon Road will be finished around the first of July, according to an announcement made today.

Built for a 300-car capacity, the new theatre will feature a snack bar where patrons may come and buy their supper or enjoy refreshments while seeing the movie. An especially equipped playground will accommodate children while their parents see the show.

Other features include a 51-foot screen, built to afford good vision. Shows will start at dusk.

The theatre is being built by Frank Rightmyer Construction Company.
