PORTSMOUTH, July 15

We hear from Falmouth, that last Monday the most severe Thunder and Lightning happened there that has been known for many Years, beginning just before Sun-set and continued till one a Clock next Morning, Major Waite of said Town, returning home, had his Horse struck down from under him, but the Major received no Hurt--Another Man standing on a Rock near the Sea-side, was so blinded by the Lightning that he fell from the same above 15 Feet, but Providentially his Life was spared tho' he received several Bruises in his Body.
