In a Havana paper of the 25th is the following important article: "The brig Rayo, from Campeachy, brings the news, that just before her sailing from that port the Spanish brig Thirtieth of May, had arrived there in a short passage from Vera Cruz, & brought the positive information that the insurrection in the Kingdom of Mexico had been ineffectual, the principal leader, Col. Iturride, having solicited and obtained pardon for his offence: That two battalions of his troops had previously gone over to the King's authorities, and said Leader had also delivered to the same authorities half a million of dollars out of the treasure, which he had before taken possession of."
