We are sorry that the unfinished condition of the E. & C. Railroad prevented friend Sanders, of the Daily Journal, from being in our midst on those days. Hope to be better fixed next time.- Vincennes Patriot.

We much desired going for several reasons: 1st. We have long desired visiting Vincennes, to see the place, take some old friends by the hand, and make new acquaintances. 2d To give a full account of the Fair, in all its prominent details. 3d. To make an anatomical examination of friend Caddington, one of the relics of "Old Post," an estimable "feller editor," and a man of larger corporocity than ourselves. We'll "drop in" soon, Mr. Patriot. If the railroad ain't finished soon, we will go up to Lafayette, and "come down" to Vincennes. We have no resolution against getting into the Wabash City in that manner.- We will only go up by railroad.
