IS DISMISSED BY COURT
The case which has been pending for several weeks against Andrew D. Meloy, who in 1902 was President of Andrew D. Meloy & Co., brokers, at No. 25 Broad street, was dismissed by Magistrate Crane, in the Essex Market Police Court to-day.
Several weeks ago charges of larceny were made against Meloy on complaint of John B. Mantull, treasurer of the Meloy concern, charging him with withholding certificates of stock of the Imperial Dry Goods Company, which, it was alleged, were the property of the Meloy company.
Mantull, in his complaint, alleged that other stock of this same company had been purchased by Richard C. Flower and members of his family.
Joseph Moss, who appeared as counsel for Mantull, had a conference with Magistrate Crane to-day and asked to withdraw the charge. Magistrate Crane complied with the request and dismissed the complaint.
