Recruit Carl C. Jamerson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jamerson, Sr., 124 Burke St., Savannah, Ga. is presently assigned to Company B, 7th Battalion, 2nd Training Regiment of the U. S. Army Training Center, Infantry, at Fort Jackson, S. C. where he is undergoing eight weeks of Basic Combat Training.

As a climax to this first phase of training, he will march with his battalion in a review before the commanding general of Fort Jackson. This ceremony is witnessed by relatives and friends of the trainees who attend the "open house" held by each company on graduation day.
