A MUSICAL TREAT

Zion Symphony Orchestra is preparing a real musical treat for all who attend the Concert which they will present on Friday evening, February 27th.

Among some of the fine selections to be presented is the well-known Grieg Suite for Orchestra from "Sigurd Jorsalfar". This consists of "Introduction", "Intermezzo" and "The Triumphal March".

In the "Introduction" Grieg gives a musical picture of his hero in all his strength and ruggedness. The "Intermezzo" is a composition of inspired beauty, which seems to descend from heaven to earth.

The "Triumphal March" is one of the most superb Marches in existence. It is truly TRIUMPHANT.

Another selection that is to be presented is "The New Moon" by Sigmund Romberg.

This selection carries through it some very familiar melodies such as "Stout-Hearted Men", "Marianne", "Lover Come Back to Me" and "Softly As In a Morning Sunrise". This composition is of a lighter vein and usually appeals to the younger set.
