Demand Increasing
For Rent Bedrooms

Demand for bedrooms is increasing in McAllen, records of the housing department of the McAllen chamber of commerce showed Saturday.

A new list of rooms is being compiled by Secretary Ruth Clark. People who wish to offer rooms for rent are asked to telephone the chamber of commerce. Recently Miss Clark gave a list of rooms from the chamber's old records to some newcomers and learned that people who had listed the rooms had moved away from McAllen several months ago, but did not appreciate the service enough to notify the chamber.

Only those people who turn in new reports of bedrooms they have to rent will have their rooms recorded, Miss Clark said.
