The following remarkable Articles of Domestic Intelligence are taken from the Providence Gazette of the 17th of last Month, viz.

Pawtucket, Dec. 15. We hear from Boston, that a certain Set of Men in that Town, who want to get Money without paying for it, will not hearken to either Law or Reason, for we have undoubted Intelligence that divers Pillage and Thefts have been lately committed in and about that Town.

We also hear that two Vessels have been lately condemned there, to satisfy the Longings of some Great Men:

"Rehoboth, Dec. 16. It is confidently reported that a Scheme is actually on Foot among some of our great Folks, and others, in Boston, to get from Men their Estates, without paying for them, and that in such a manner as to escape the Censures of the Law."
