Full Text

The Louisville Democrat pertinently says that if the Secesh prefer to indulge their own conceit and hate to securing their interest in slave property, or in the institution of slavery, they should take the consequences and not complain. It is their fault, and no one else's, that slavery is in danger. They were forewarned, but they would not heed wise counsels. They know how to avert the danger, and will not take the path they knew. We are really not so certain that the Secesh do know how to keep out of the fire. They probably belong to that unfortunate class who are given over to "judicial blindness," and "to believe a lie that they may be damned."
