ELECTION WEEK IN ENGLAND SEES DRIFT OF VOTERS

LLOYD GEORGE WILL HOLD BALANCE OF POWER, ACCORDING TO OUTLOOK

LONDON, April 15, (AP)-- The final and vital phase of Great Britain's elections begins with conservatives in a much better position than they were earlier in the year when the elections showed a material drift of voters to other parties. Still conservatives majority in the next Parliament will be greatly reduced.

The labor party claims it will be victorious and the conservatives themselves fear their majority will be whittled down so fine that the Baldwin government will not have strength to continue in office. One of the largest possibilities at the present time is that Lloyd George, liberal leader, will hold the balance of power within his forces and be able to dictate to both conservatives and laborites.
