CLAYISM AND THE TELEGRAPH.

Duff Green, of the Telegraph, says he cannot and will not support Mr. Clay for the Presidency, and the Lynchburg Virginian, an old thorough going Clay paper, says it is glad that Duff has taken such a resolution. "We are anxious," says the Virginian, 'for Mr. Clay's election, but the gratification we should feel at that event would be considerably diminished if those presses" (meaning the Telegraph and Richmond Jeffersonian) "had any agency in promoting it." The Clay men are kicking Duff out of their company as fast as they can. How does Mr. Clay like him as a Printer to the Senate?
