The council was organized Wednesday afternoon by the election of these members of committees:
Finance: Mary E. Johnston, Carl C. Gillespie.
Streets: Bill Hughes, W. H. Walthall.
Water and sanitation: Jo. Nat Johnson, John W. Gillespie
