State Farming Heads Meet.
Baltimore, Jan. 8.—Nearly every state is represented at the annual convention of the National Association of State Commissioners of Agriculture which opened here. Charles S. Wilson, the president, in an address said that prominent among the questions of reconstruction so far as farming was concerned was provision for returning soldiers. He hoped the association would develop some plan of land settlement for the soldiers. C. T. Norgord, of Wisconsin, is chairman of the executive committee.
