FROM THE AURORA:

THE Boston Gazette of Saturday, in the true Connecticut cant, affects to deplore the violent slander and the venomous falsehoods which proceeded the ruin of the late administration, and boldly asserts that these slanders and falsehoods have been over and over detected and exposed. We shall repeat a few of those slanders, which are called venomous and seditious falsehoods, and as we have never seen from any body else the refutation of them, we beg the moral and Grecian and chaste languaged youths from Connecticut, will point out to the public, when and where they were proved to be false and seditious.

The following are a few of the facts concerning the late administration, which remain established to this hour

I. The late administration labored to involve the nation in a war, contrary to its true interest, honor, prosperity and policy.

II. They were hostile in theory and practice to the principles of republican government.

III. They violated the Constitution and the laws in various instances, e.g.
They disbursed public money, without any appropriation made by law.
They kept up a Standing army in time of peace.
They entered into a conspiracy against an ally during a war, while we were at peace.
They, in violation of the Constitution &c in contempt of the Senate, entered into and concluded a Treaty, without the advice or consent of the Senate.
In violation of a law restraining trade, they caused the Ship Kingston to leave port with merchandize.
The liberty of the press, rendered sacred by the constitution, they violated.
They sanctioned the intrigues of a foreign minister in corruption of a Senator and connived at the escape of the traitor.
They dictated to a Judge on the bench, and ordered the delivery of a man, holding the evidence of citizenship, up to a foreign power.
They sanctioned the propagation of terror, and rewarded violators of the peace and the laws.
They suffered vast sums of money to lie in the hands of public officers, for purposes of speculation, contrary to law.

IV. They created numerous insecure places, unauthorized by the constitution or by law.

V. They bestowed such offices on members of the Senate, to create influence.

VI. They contemned the rights and privileges of Congress, insulted one of its members, by military dependents on the Executive.

VII. They excited division, jealousy and discord among the people, designating those who did not approve of their monarchical and arbitrary measures, as enemies, and by means of this division, attempted to enslave the nation.

VIII. They multiplied embassies without necessity, for the emolument of their families or political dependents.

IX. They projected other embassies without reason or necessity, and with a view to promote the hostile stratagem of the powers of Europe.

X. They directed negotiations and entered into treaties, disgraceful to the independence and injurious to the rights of neutral nations.

XI. They, to the dishonor of human nature, and in contradiction to the glorious principles of the Congress of 1776, directed their ambassador at London to obstruct the emigration of those Irish patriots, who supplied America in their resistance of evils and wrongs ten thousands times more grievous--and refused them an asylum in these free and happy States.

XII. They stirred up alarm, and countenanced fictitious plots to deceive the American people into foreign or civil war.

XIII. They encouraged arbitrary power and a dispensation with the right of trial by jury, contrary to the constitution, and the natural rights of man in society--a stretch of power unprincipled as Robespierian justice, upon no charge but suspicion, or the suspicion of being suspected.

XIV. They issued orders to armed vessels to make war, in a manner and to an extent unauthorized by law or any previous usage.
