Full Text

STANLEY H. HARMAN of Lodge 267, Cumberland, Md., is deeply grateful to fellow workmen and E. W. Humbertson, owner of the Strand TV Co., 5 Liberty St., Cumberland, Md., for the 17-inch console TV set which he is now enjoying. Harman, an extra brakeman at the time, suffered the loss of both legs above the knees as result of an accident last fall on the west-bound hump at Cumberland. Baltimore & Ohio employees at Cumberland came up with contributions and with the generosity of Mr. Humbertson, who furnished the set at cost, the TV console was obtained for Harman.

Further consideration also was shown by the Johnson Brothers of LaVale, Md., employees of Western Maryland Railroad, in furnishing cable service off their private cable, free of monthly charges. Harman is coming along fine and recently was measured for artificial legs.
