A Great Mathematical Discovery.

National Associated Press to the Star.

CHICAGO, ILL., Dec. 4.-A special from Greencastle, Indiana, says: Dr. Jos. Tyngly of Asbury University announces a discovery that will revolutionize several branches of mathematics, simultaneous with another which demonstrates the fallacy of the new-found system. This comes a few days after Lockyer's reported discovery concerning hydrogen. Tyngly preserves his discovery until he can copyright the work to embody it in full. He will issue a pamphlet in a few days, containing the gist of it. These are as great discoveries as have been made during this century.
