REWARD OF MERIT.
Charles Burrall, Esq. who has acted as post-master in Baltimore for upwards of seventeen years; who was appointed during the administration of Washington; whose conduct has been highly approved of by every succeeding president, particularly Mr. Jefferson, who knew him intimately: whose able and impartial execution of the duties of his office has secured him the sincere regard of every respectable citizen of Baltimore of every party -has been suddenly dismissed from office, without any previous intimation without any cause being assigned.
John S. Skinner, Esq is appointed to succeed Mr. Burrall as post-master of the city of Baltimore.
