Sunday was Communion day at Mt. Mariah A. M. E. Church. Sunday School began at the usual hour of 10 a.m. with the superintendent, Miss Neomi Dasher in charge who also gave a review of the lesson.

Choir No. 1 rendered music at the 11:30 service. Rev. H. C. Nelson outlined his text from the 20th chapter of St. Luke. 19 verse theme "You Break Your Point In Life."

He preached out of his soul after which Holy Communion was served.

The A. C. E. League met at 5 p.m. with the president, Miss Gussie Robinson in charge.

Rev. Nelson preached the 7 p.m. sermon using as a theme, "Blessed Is The Man Who Endureth Temptation." Visiting preacher for evening was Rev. Williams and his wife of Bennett Union Baptist Church.

Our Revival meetings begin August 21. Rev. A. J. Martin of Savannah, Ga. will conduct the meetings.

August 27 is Youth Day at Mt. Mariah A. M. E. Church, where Rev. H. C. Nelson is pastor.

Mrs. Girdie Harris is out of the hospital and doing fine.
